He sought out inspiration from Mase and Diddy in their late '90s rap videos and later on Kanye West and Pharrell Williams. Scott began producing and releasing beats via MySpace at 16. After a brief time in New York, he left for Los Angeles where he met T.I. and signed to Epic Records and T.I's own label, Grand Hustle. He later met Kanye West's engineer, Anthony, and was able to co-produce tracks on GOOD Music's Cruel Summer. Hits like "Quintana" and "Blocka La Flame" landed him a spot in the XXL Freshman Class of 2013.
Finally, his EP Owl Pharaoh was released in 2013. After releasing his second mixtape Days Before Rodeo, he announced a Rodeo Tour with Young Thug and Metro Boomin. Many famous artists, like Kanye West and Chris Brown, have made guest appearances along the tour. His album Rodeo was released back in September of 2015 and rose to number 3 on the US Billboard 200.
